Established in 2007, DLD was founded with the simple goal of using design skills to improve both people's homes and lives. Since then, the practice has grown, but the initial mission remains the core principal of the firm. We continue to be inspired to make buildings better, lives better, and to make people happy.

It's not uncommon for us to work with homeowners who have spent years feeling unsettled and unhappy. They have discussed, planned, and evaluated every aspect of a potential home improvement project. Why? Because they are unhappy with an elemental and substantial portion of their home. It may sound trite, but happiness is a wonderful thing, and it's a unique aspect of architecture to improve lives by changing how people feel about their homes.
