About us
In the mid 1800’s the Hunt family established the Atlas Works in Earls Colne making agricultural machinery. During 1965 the William Hunt Trust was established with the purpose of using its funds in support of “General Charitable Purposes”. From this a further charitable trust “The Earls Colne Recreation Ground Trust” was established in September 1977. The Club continues to abide by the Trust Deed and is a registered Charity No. 274292
