People from all over the country have been coming to city with dreams of making it big in their life. People from North East part of India have also made Bangalore their home and have become a integral part of fabric called Bangalore.

NE community is know for being honest, hard working, skilled & fun loving. Young boys and girls from NE have been coming here to get jobs and work to earn and support themselves and their families back home. They end up being in retail and service oriented small establishments often working for very less salary and thus get caught up in the vicious cycle of poverty and hardships. 

"Skin and Strands" - is a social experiment started with the aim to give opportunity to the skilled people, empower them, support/guide them in running successful small business ventures and in turm rewarding them as partners. We hope that this initiative will help us provide them with better quality of life. A good part of the profits from the venture will be used to create other opportunities for more skilled people

Founder Team at Skin and Strands is a mix of software/hardware professionals as investors & skilled salon staff ( from North East). With limited investment and hard work we are trying to make it big with sole aim of making a difference to the lives of those involved in the venture. We look forward to like minded people joinng hands and creating opportunities for the ones who deserve.
