Founded in 1980 by Larry Wander, LM Wander & Sons Landscaping, Inc. started out with nothing more than a push mower and a pickup truck. Slowly, it gained popularity as a small business, cutting grass for local families and helping them care for their lawns. Since, its popularity has sky-rocketed and LM Wander & Sons Landscaping, Inc has expanded into a full-service landscaping company, offering hardscape installations and commercial snowplowing, as well as regular landscape maintenance.

At its core, LM Wander & Sons Landscaping, Inc believes in family. From Larry’s son – David Wander, Vice President – all the way down to little Carter Wander who helps to clean up leaves and snow, family has always been at the forefront of this organization. Home grown, the roots of this company are extensive, and they have been paramount in its success.

A pillar of his community, Larry Wander coached little league baseball for nearly 20 years, donating materials and services to the field even after leaving the position. In the early ‘90s, he also donated the installation of three soccer fields for Fort LeBoeuf. Continuing the spirit of community involvement that Larry began, LM Wander & Sons Landscaping, Inc has since donated their landscaping services to multiple projects throughout Erie County, including the reality television sensation, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition alongside Maleno Builders in 2009. In 2013, services were offered to Diehl School to assist teachers, staff and students in the construction of a new playground, and the installation of a tree was donated to Second Harvest Food Bank in honor of food bank volunteer Cindy Soltys, who tragically lost her battle against cancer earlier that year.

More recently, in 2014, LM Wander & Sons Landscaping, Inc. donated the design and installation of the Garden Retreat area at Belle Valley School, for which they received the Spirit of Millcreek Award from Millcreek Township for exemplifying the mission and beliefs of the district and in 2015, they teamed up with R.I. Lampus Company and 93.9 The Wolf to give away a patio installation worth an estimated $7,000 to one lucky winner!

LM Wander & Sons Landscaping, Inc also contributes regularly to the LECOM Scholarship Fund, Second Harvest Food Bank, Salvation Army, Erie City Mission, Perry Hi-Way Hose Co., American Legion, Fort LeBoeuf High School, Cops & Rodders and more.
