Bio

Mike Gellman, M.S. is Founder of High Five Career Coaching and an ICF-certified Coach. He is author of Pipe Dreams: 7 Pipelines of Career Success and serves as an Adjunct Instructor for Brandman University in interpersonal communications. Mike facilitates transformational self-discovery among highly-motivated technical professionals and leaders in various stages of their careers to gain greater clarity, create sustainable change, and achieve higher levels of excellence.

During 15+ years as an internal consultant with Fortune 500 and nonprofit organizations, Mike established and managed a one-of-a-kind Career Coaching & Development Center and a nationally-recognized, award-winning Mentorship program. He also led numerous talent management initiatives including succession planning, high potential leader development, and employee engagement. 

He is a single father to a wise and witty teenage son, Jonas. With a love of the outdoors, he can be found on running and hiking trails, diving for frisbees and footballs at the park, or indulging in nature photography. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and having spent most of his professional career in San Diego, CA, he currently resides in Irvine, CA.
