Questions and Answers for your Intuitive Consultant - The Hedge Witch Oracle

1.How long you have been giving readings professionally?

I have been giving professional readings for 13 years.

2.Who were your teachers and mentors that helped shape the way you do readings?

I am a self taught Cartomancer(card reader) and my first clairvoyant experiences were prophetic dreams during childhood. Although I did not have any mentors in my Tarot card education, the person who has had the greatest influence on my faith in intuition would have to be my Stepmother, a powerful intuitive in her own right.

3.How many years have you studied for your profession?

I have been studying the Tarot and giving card readings for over 30 years. The first time I had ever seen Tarot cards, in person, was when I was 11 years old and it was love at first sight. I bought my first deck shortly there after. The Tarot has been my constant companion ever since and it has given me a profound tool in which to plumb and explore the depths of the human psyche in order to heal, achieve clarity, and find direction. I have conducted thousands of readings for hundreds of satisfied clients.

4.How do you do your readings and what will your client experience in one of your readings?

When I conduct Tarot card readings I prefer not to know the clients initial question and ask few if any auxiliary or exploratory questions of the client. I basically go into a focused state of mind where I gaze at the cards and describe the meaning of each in relation to the question and the other cards in the spread. I talk continuously for the duration of the reading, going over each card with its esoteric symbolism, it’s connection to the question, and what the client can expect, avoid, and watch out for.

There are three times during the course of the reading where I ask the client if what I have said makes sense and if there is anything that needs elaboration. At the end of the reading if the client would like to share their question with me they may do so but are not obliged.

I rarely remember a reading as the information I receive is passing through me and is not originating from my creative mind, it is more a function of association followed by a stream of consciousness. The client does not need to have a question in order for me to conduct a consultation.

It is my experience that ones higher consciousness, through the Tarot, will select the most pressing issue to discuss even if the client isn’t aware of what specific question to ask. In order for me to do a reading, the client must select the cards, either by touching them directly or by picking a number representing a sequential position in the deck.

5.What methods or tools do you use in your readings to access your intuition and information?

Prayer and meditation are the tools I use to access my intuitive abilities. I ask that our higher consciousness or Christ Consciousness be present in the reading and that it direct us towards the highest and best resolution.

6.As a reader what situations or areas do you most enjoy helping people with?

Empowerment is what I most enjoy helping people find within themselves.

7.What do you feel is your main purpose as a reader?

My purpose as a reader is to be a mirror. To be both teacher and student. To heal and be healed. To offer unconditional compassion and a non judgmental perspective of your own thinking so that you can take full control of your potential by redefining your past, realizing the opportunities of the moment, and creating the future of your design.

8.Will you tell your client “bad” things? Why or why not?

Life is often full of disappointments. Disappointments come from expectations not being met. Expectations are assumptions that certain things will or will not happen and many times assumptions lead to costly mistakes. When we examine the roots of all action it inevitably leads us to a singular choice that was realized first in the mind. When you perfect the cause you perfect the result. When you learn to account for your actions there are no “bad” situations only potential opportunities. It is my understanding that the Tarot does not predict death, serious illness, injury or disease. It does, however, reveal mindsets that might lead to these conditions should fear and negative core beliefs posses ones decision-making process. When it comes to Tarot readings I conduct, I tell my clients exactly what I see but there is never a “bad” situation only a better choice to be made in the moment. That is not to say there are not seemingly tragic events in our lives, there are and the Tarot will bring awareness to such an issue if it is not already known and is pertinent to the understanding and resolution of the question.

9.Is the future set or can the client change things? In your readings do you share with clients how they can change things?

The Future is not set in time. If you don’t like what the future might hold in store for you, change your mind about it and change your life. However, there is a difference between fate and destiny.

10.What do you enjoy most about giving readings?

What I enjoy the most about giving Tarot readings is three fold: helping people find clarity, empowering and healing those in need, and how much I learn about myself from every client I consult.
